From Clanwilliam to Lambert’s Bay
The 112km ride starts in Clanwilliam on the sport fields of the Sederberg Primary School.
Clanwilliam is the home town of our title sponsor: Rooibos Ltd.
The route heads off in a southerly direction along the banks of the Clanwilliam dam and the Olifants River.
After crossing under the N7, the undulating route ventures onto privately owned properties with breathtaking scenery.
At approximately 76km, the 112km route joins the 38km route at Graafwater making for a relatively easy final section with an elevation of only 140m over the last 38km.
The route is non-technical, is suitable for mountain, gravel and e-bike.
The 112km ride is recommended for the experienced longer distance riders.
The route is very scenic and crosses over 34 private farms.
The route has a total elevation of approximately 1200m and, best of all, it has no sand.
There will be 4 water points en-route, and one at the finish.
